ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday met United Nations General Assembly President Mr. Csaba Korosi in New York.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with the President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Csaba Korosi, in which various topics were discussed including the effects of climate change, water crisis, and sustainable development goals.

 

Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister thanked the UN General Assembly for passing the resolution expressing solidarity with Pakistan due to the flood disasters.

On the other hand, General Assembly President Mr. Csaba Korosi appreciated Pakistan’s successful leadership of the Group of 77 and China and also invited the Foreign Minister to participate in the upcoming United Nations Water Conference in March 2023.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari assured the President of the UN General Assembly of Pakistan’s full support and cooperation.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto addressed the Security Council on the topic of “restoration of international peace and security” and said that Pakistan welcomes this open discussion on international peace and security. “On behalf of the Indian Presidency. I would like to respond to the concept note sued on ways to improve and reform multilateralism” he added.

Bilawal Bhutto said, “We live in a complex world of diverse civilizations, we face many threats and challenges in the transition to a multi-polar power structure, these challenges also offer us unprecedented development opportunities.”

However, the fictitious universe in which his two most well-known characters, John Clark and Jack Ryan, are set is the same. The two frequently cooperate in the books. Both characters have recently been brought to life in various projects that, coincidentally, both had their premieres on Prime Video. Actor John Krasinski, who portrays Jack Ryan, discusses a potential crossover in an interview with Bollywood media.

At the moment, there are three seasons of Jack Ryan, and a fourth has already been filmed. But Ryanverse lasts 30–40 years in Tom Clancy’s books (with Jack Ryan even becoming the President of the US). So, there is enough content for 20 seasons if the creators want to do that. When asked if he knew how far Jack Ryan was supposed to go, John said, “As far as how long this goes, right now we have only shot four seasons and it looks like that would be the end of the series. But you never know. There may be another iteration for this character. It’s certainly been an amazing character for me to play. So who knows, we’ll see!”

John Clark, who is also a well-known character from Tom Clancy’s Ryanverse, was in the movie Without Remorse from last year. The movie was starred by Michael B. Jordan and could be watched on Prime Video. Fans have been hoping for a crossover since both of Clancy’s famous characters are now on the same streaming service. And the actors have also thought about it. “It’s something that I have always wanted to do. I actually talked to Michael B Jordan about it. He is the greatest. I am such a huge fan of his and would like to work with him on anything. We both found ourselves in this amazing universe and thought it would be a great opportunity to do it together. Hopefully that gets to happen at some point soon,” says John.

‘I feared anyone passing me might throw acid on me’, says Kangana Ranaut

The actor claimed that whenever a stranger passed her, she used to obnoxiously conceal her face.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Ranaut wrote, “When I was a teenager my sister @rangoli r chandel was attacked with acid by a road side Romeo…. She had to go through 52 surgeries, unimaginable amount of mental and physical trauma…. We as a family were devastated …. I also had to go through therapy because I feared anyone passing me might throw acid on me which caused me to cover my face violently in a reflex action every time a biker a car a stranger crossed me …. These atrocities haven’t stopped …. Government need to act very strongly against these crimes ….I do agree with @gautamgambhir55 we need to take very strict measures against acid attackers.”
