Internet influencer kicks dog for reel, later apologized

Instagram influencer Kajal Kiran is facing backlash after filming a video of herself kicking a stray puppy and giggling. Following this, animal lovers on social media condemned the video and filed complaints against the woman with the authorities. Vidit Sharma, the creator of ‘Save A Stray,’ tweeted, “How can you be so insensitive toward these voiceless souls… If you cant love them dont hurt them.”

Tarana Singh, an activist, wrote, “What a horrible “IN(HuMaN)”… Will we stoop so LOW for Self Aggrandisement & Likes/ Followers? What are we teaching the youth & children?”

Ms Kiran erased the video from her account and apologised shortly after the disruption on social media. She claimed to be an animal lover in the video. She added in the caption, “Hi Guys, I am sorry for my cruel act, this was a heat of moment. I regret my actions and didn’t realize the gravity at that point of time. I vow to not harm any animals.” An NGO named Animal Hope and Wellness commented on the post, saying, “That wasn’t funny, it was disgusting. I guess it amusing was to you and the people around you, but not to many of us. You showed your “true colors” and so don’t pretend now to be someone you’re not. Make sure you’re not around any animals from now on, they will be much better off.”

On Instagram, the influencer has a big fan base of 1,21,000 followers. She later apologised in another video. In the video, she is shown feeding crackers to stay dogs and reaffirming that she is an animal lover who has done good actions her entire life and that people should forgive her for making that “one mistake.”

The video shows her feeding stray dogs water and assisting people with disabilities.

Time-lapse video turns the world and sky still

On social media, a magnificent time-lapse video of a night sky is going viral. Such videos are not uncommon, but photographer Eric Brummel has done something unusual that has captivated internet users. In the video, instead of the Milky Way galaxy travelling across the night sky, the Earth is moving. The clip, which was first created in 2020, is regaining popularity on the internet. This time, it was shared on Twitter by Buitengebieden and liked by almost 1.5 lakh people.

The photographer stated on Instagram that the video was recorded at Crater Lake National Park in the United States. Mr. Brummel stated that the video’s goal is to “help us visualise the Earth’s rotation.”

The video was created by the photographer using a star-tracker and his camera. The optical gadget turns the camera in the opposite direction as the Earth does. It has the optical effect of making the sky more stable.

The video has wowed Twitter users.

Who doesn’t enjoy a good back rub? A humorous video of a stray dog getting a back rub from an automatic car wash has reappeared on the internet. The dog can be seen standing at an auto garage where vehicles are being cleaned with big brush rollers in the 58-second film. The large brush roller has long bristles and glides up and down to clean the automobile thoroughly. When the roller comes down, the dog goes beneath it and gets a nice massage from the enormous brush’s long bristles. The dog appears to enjoy the free massage.

Tansu Yegen posted the video to Twitter with the remark “Very clever.” The video has received over 6 million views since it was posted. The internet praised the dog’s intelligence.

As one user put it, “I dont want to ruin the fun. Its awesome vid and so cute. I just thought, if the doggo would do it regularly, maybe the chemicals used to wash the cars are toxic for the fur, but as I said, still very cute.” Another user commented, “Hahaha this is so adorable! Wish we had such….Both for the car as well as the dogs.”

“My dog would love that! He always rubs his back on objects that are the right height: my foot when I have one leg crossed, cross bar on table leg, bags hanging on back of kitchen chair, etc,” the third user commented. “If this was a stray, I would totally adopt them. Looks like they just need scratches and cuddles,” the fourth expressed itself

Meanwhile, another video of a puppy German Shepherd’s innocent reaction when it first sees adorable infant kittens went viral.

“German Shepherd puppy meets the new kittens for the first time,” Danny Deraney’s video caption reads.

The mother cat is shown in the video laying on a bed with her newborn kittens. A puppy German Shepard goes in and looks at the kittens with interest, but from a safe distance. The dog even gets a gift for its new companions to welcome them.
