Adnan Siddiqui, a Pakistani actor, has made fun of the recently released remake of Aap Jaisa Koi. Nazia Hassan, a Pakistani pop singer, sang the original song for the Bollywood film Qurbani (1980). Ayushmann Khurrana and Malaika Arora appear in the music video for the brand-new song, which is from the movie An Action Hero. Zahrah S. Khan and Altamash Faridi performed the fresh rendition of Aap Jaisa Koi, and Tanishk Bagchi reworked the melody.

Taking to Twitter, Adnan wrote on Tuesday, “Is there something in the air that the world has suddenly developed a penchant for ruining perfect classics? Even re-creation requires talent. Nazia Hassan must be turning in her grave. #AapJaisaKoi nahi (nobody is like you)…” Several fans also criticised the new track. A person commented, “Just shows people lack own initiative and lack skill knowledge in writing. It’s easier to copy others’ fine tune and music. Lack of creativity.”
After being released last week, the new version of Aap Jaisa Koi received a range of reactions from the audience. One admirer wrote about the song on the T-Series YouTube channel: “The artists are so gorgeous, the video is wonderful.” However, a number of people had unpleasant reactions to it. Nazia Hassan’s voice cannot be changed; it is the best, according to someone. Another remark stated, “After listening to this song, I suddenly discovered what a jewel Nazia Hassan was.
Feroz Khan was the producer, director, and star of the 1980 film Qurbani. Feroz, Zeenat Aman, and Vinod Khanna were the featured actors in the original song. Amjad Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Aruna Irani, Amrish Puri, and Kadar Khan also starred in the movie. The disco songs Aap Jaisa Koi (created by Biddu) and Laila O Laila made Qurbani famous for its music.

With Mom, Adnan Siddiqui made his Bollywood debut (2017). Sridevi, Sajal Ali, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Akshaye Khanna also acted in the movie. He also appeared in the 2007 movie A Mighty Heart with Angelina Jolie and Irrfan Khan. Aroosa, Pal Do Pal, Meri Adhoori Mohabbat, Meri Zaat Zara-e-Benishan, Doraha, Hawa Rait Aur Aangan, among many others, are just a few of the Pakistani serials in which he has acted.
An Action Hero, a quirky thriller directed by Ayushmann, is scheduled to open in theatres on December 2. The movie, directed by Anirudh Iyer, also features Jaideep Ahlawat in the title role. In addition, Ayushmann will star alongside Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz in the upcoming comedy flick Dream Girl 2. The movie is scheduled to premiere in June 2023.
