Stranger Things Season 4 trailer unveils a new villain with a spectacular turn

Stranger Things season 4 trailer is now available on Netflix, depicting the epic return of the fan-favorite sci-fi horror thriller. The show, created by the Duffer Brothers, is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s and follows Finn Wolfhard’s Mike Wheeler and his friends as they uncover a supernatural conspiracy brewing beneath their noses, all of which appears to be connected to Millie Bobby Brown’s mysterious superpowered girl, Eleven.

Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, and Maya Hawke are among the Stranger Things cast members.

Stranger Things Season 4 follows up six months after the events of Season 3 and the horrific Battle of Starcourt, in which Billy sacrificed himself to save the group while David Harbour’s Hopper was presumably murdered while attempting to lock the Upside Down gate.

As their family moved away from Hawkins, the pals were divided up throughout the country, hoping to finally escape the terror that has afflicted the town for the past three years and offer the youngsters a regular high school experience.

However, as a new threat emerges, posing a grisly mystery, the group must find a way to reassemble in the hopes of finally putting an end to the Upside Down.

Netflix has published the official Stranger Things season 4 trailer with little over a month till the show returns. The video delves deeper into the new mystery that the show’s youthful heroes will face as they navigate the pitfalls of high school.

Take a look at the new trailer below:

The introduction of the Upside Down’s unidentified major villain will undoubtedly be the most exciting tease from the Stranger Things season 4 trailer.

While the Mind Flayer has been established as the most dangerous menace from the frightening alternate world in previous seasons of the show, the new video portrays an even more terrifying enemy pulling the strings behind the scenes and seeking revenge on Eleven and her pals. Stranger Things season 4 will release its first half of episodes on May 27, ending the wait for the show’s return.
