WhatsApp working on feature which includes in-app support for users

WhatsApp chats consuming storage

Widely-used messaging service WhatsApp is reportedly working on in-app support to let users instantly report any problem they come across or when it stops working.

WhatsApp new versions for Android may include in-app support for reporting problems. The messaging platform is currently developing a feature that allows communicating with the technical support team.

According to WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned messaging platform is developing a feature which will allow communicating with the technical support within the app.

WABetaInfo, explaining the reason behind the forthcoming update, wrote on its web page earlier today: “Have you a problem with WhatsApp? Isn’t something working? Do you want to report a bug? You can actually send an email to support@whatsapp.com, but it must be said that it’s not really convenient, and users receive an automatic response a lot of times.”

Earlier, WhatsApp began testing ‘always mute’ option along with multiple features on beta for Android users as well.

The useful ‘always mute’ feature and ‘media guidelines’ are being tested in the newly-released WhatsApp version 2.20.201.10 beta for Android.

The ‘always mute’ feature is being rolled out for beta testers on Android only and it might take a few days to reach a majority of them.

“2019, was probably the most rewarding year of my career, but when I look back and think about all that I went through last year, I realize that my mental health had completely taken a back seat,” she wrote.

Kaleem added, “I was almost 48 kilos and I was suffering from severe body dysmorphia. Would spend hours obsessing over my weight, about losing those few inches on my waist, about getting those perfect hips, or about just looking the part.”

“I had started starving myself, not eating for 24 hours and more, was abusing drugs, was unhealthy and was a 6ft girl suffering from severe anorexia. I would occasionally blackout and needed help. What I think is it had less to do with my field of work and more to do with how I was okay with being so self-destructive.”

Mushk Kaleem then expressed how she had become comfortable with being unhappy, but assured that hers was happy story. “Now, a year later, I’m a happier person. I’ve been clean for more than a year. I have found support and happiness in my family, friends, and pets. I have set boundaries that I never let people cross.”

In a blog posted on the White House website, Melania said that Barron exhibited no symptoms, a departure from herself and the president, who have both said they experienced mild symptoms.

Both the president and first lady also tested positive for coronavirus – as well as other White House staff – but have since recovered.

Trump announced that he and the First Lady had tested positive in the early-morning hours on October 1. However, both have now recovered from the disease.

“My fear came true when he was tested again and it came up positive. Luckily, he is a strong teenager and exhibited no symptoms. In one way I was glad the three of us went through this at the same time so we could take care of one another and spend time together. He has since tested negative,” Melania said on Wednesday.

The First Lady encouraged everyone to continue to live the healthiest life they can. A balanced diet, fresh air, and vitamins really are vital to keep our bodies healthy, she said.

“For your complete well-being, compassion and humility are just as important in keeping our minds strong. For me personally, the most impactful part of my recovery was the opportunity to reflect on many things, family, friendships, my work, and staying true to who you are,” she wrote.

Furthermore, the United States (US) has recorded more than 7.8 million coronavirus cases and 216,000 deaths.

Apple not selling iPhone 11 series after iPhone 12 launch

Apple not selling iPhone 11

After the launch of iPhone 12 lineup, Apple discontinued the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max and reduced the prices of its older iPhones including iPhone XR, iPhone SE, and iPhone 11.

Apple unveiled four new iPhones in a virtual event on October 13. The four iPhones include iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Apple is no longer selling the top-of-the-line models including iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max that was launched in 2019 along with iPhone 11.

Apple first introduced a triple camera setup with the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. However, on the company’s website now, you would not find the listings of iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Earlier this year, Apple had stopped selling the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus after it launched the affordable iPhone SE 2020. Interestingly, the SE resembles the iPhone 8 but has the insides of the iPhone 11.

Moreover, at the launch event on October 13, the company confirmed that the entire iPhone 12 lineup would not include EarPods or a power adapter in the box.

However, buyers will only get a USB-C to Lightning cable.

The tech giant stated that it is not including chargers and EarPods due to environmental reasons.

Apple noted that if they provide the phones in smaller retail boxes, the process would help in reducing carbon emissions.
