PCB: New Zealand Cricket has not talked about any worries over upcoming tour

PCB: New Zealand Cricket has not talked about any worries over upcoming tour

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) denied the news about New Zealand Cricket’s worried about the upcoming Pakistan tour and told that (NZC) has not spoken to them over such concerns.

The PCB spokesperson stated that the cricket board was preparing for the New Zealand tour and the series is at its full steam, as was the case in earlier held home series and the Pakistan Super League.

He told that the players and match officials will love the status of state guests in Pakistan during their tour.

New Zealand media had previously reported that the team’s tour to Pakistan was subject to a security reconsideration as the players had expressed worries.

The media reported that New Zealand Press Association Chief Heath Mills said that whatever happening in Afghanistan is miserable and people, as well as the New Zealand players, were questioning the security check procedures.

The report also proposed that the NZC independent security consultant Reg Dickason will tour Pakistan the following week to ensure the security situation here, and his report based on a detailed evaluation will make the final decision whether they will tour Pakistan or not.

The PCB is fixed to the stance that the tour has been scheduled and it has nothing to do with the regional situation.

As per PCB, Reg’s visit in August was scheduled long ago and it has nothing to do with the Afghanistan issue.

PCB spokesperson told that Reg is an adviser of the England Cricket Board (ECB) too, hence he will provide his advice to them, also regarding England’s men and women teams’ visit to Pakistan, scheduled for October.

For now, England reported that ECB would also examine the security situation in Pakistan for the autumn ODI tour for England’s men’s and women’s cricket teams.

On the other hand, an ECB spokesperson told that there are always going to be security checks and procedures

Babar Azam & Mohammad Wasim divided over Shoaib Malik selection in T20

Pakistan captain Babar Azam, and chief selector Mohammad Wasim are divided regarding the selection of veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik in the T20 squad.

As per the reports, Babar wants to add Shoaib to the T20 squad, according to him he can solve the middle-order batting issue of the team. Whereas, Wasim doesn’t want to include an aged player like Shoaib in the team ahead of T20 World Cup.

Reports further claimed that while citing their sources Wasim didn’t further reply to Babar on his request.

This year it is observed that the Pakistan team has been marred by middle-order batting issues. Only Fakhar Zaman, apart from Babar and Mohammad Rizwan, has completed their fifty in T20 for the national team.

Shoaib’s 354 runs made him the 4th highest run-scorer in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He also proved his determination at this stage in the recently finished Kashmir Premier League (KPL) by scoring 240 runs in 7 matches.

He added, “Our main event is T20 World Cup and most of the senior players want to rest. Our physio has also suggested rest for our body and the players sitting on the bench have the best opportunity to showcase themselves,”

However, Rizwan denied the rumors that Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim and Babar Azam are divided on the selection of the team members.

He said, “I did not hear that there was any problem between the captain and the chief selector

He further said, There is no such thing that the captain and the chief selector are not on the same page, we are all one. Yes, there can be differences in opinion but in the end, we try to make decisions in the favor of the team,”

For now, Mohammad Rizwan is self-assured that his team will make a comeback in the 2nd Test against the West Indies after losing the 1st test by 1 wicket only.

Babar Azam wants to re-establish Pakistan’s “Superiority” in T20

Babar Azam: ‘Can’t talk on Sarfaraz individually, Wasim has already explained’

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam said that the upcoming T20 World Cup will be an opportunity for his team to re-establish their “superiority” in Twenty20 format.

Babar Azam wants to re-establish the team’s “superiority” in the T20 format by winning the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup. Pakistan, the T20 World Cup champions in 2009, will open their game in the 2021 event against India at the Dubai International Stadium on 24th October.

In an ICC release, Babar said, “All the players are excited, motivated, and enthusiastic, and eyeing this tournament as an opportunity to showcase our prowess and re-establish our superiority in the shortest format of the game in conditions that suit us best,”

Pakistan will also face New Zealand and Afghanistan in Group 2 of the Super 12s stage, with two qualifiers from Round 1. At the same venue, Pakistan will play against New Zealand and Afghanistan on 27th October and 29th October respectively.

Speaking about Pakistan’s planning for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021, Babar said: “We will utilize the build-up period by playing in home series against New Zealand and England and will not only aim to fine-tune our final outlook but also try win as many matches as possible so that we can carry that winning form and momentum to the United Arab Emirates,”

He remains “focused” on inspiring his team with his performances in the T20 World Cup.

He added, “From a personal point of view, this will be my first ICC Major Event as Pakistan captain. As a player, I have tasted success in the 2017 Champions Trophy and suffered disappointment in 2019 when we missed out on a World Cup semi-final spot by a fraction of a point despite beating both the finalists in league matches,”

He concluded, “I remain focused on inspiring my side with my performances so that we can become the first Pakistan side to win an ICC Major Event in Asia,”

Facebook Messenger is introducing end-to-end encrypt voice and video calls

How to Download Videos from Messenger

Facebook is introducing an end-to-end encryption feature for voice and video calls in their Messenger App. Facebook announced in a blog post that they are rolling out the change today along with new controls for its disappearing messages. Some of their users may also view new test features related to encryption.

Facebook Messenger has already got end-to-end encryption for text messages back in 2016 when Facebook added a “secret conversation” option to their app. Now that mode also supports calling. Facebook says they are adding the feature as interest in voice and video calls raise, saying that the Messenger app now sees more than 150 million video calls per day.

Facebook chat app WhatsApp is already offering to call with end-to-end encryption or E2EE, which prevents anyone but a sender and receiver from seeing the encrypted data. Similarly some other video calling apps like Zoom, Signal, and Apple’s FaceTime. Facebook characterizes E2EE as “becoming the industry standard” across messaging services. Previously rumors have proposed that Facebook might roll out a unified, end-to-end encrypted messaging system across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram but up till now, nothing happened.

Text conversations are getting a smaller update that is if the person is setting a message to disappear, then he will see more options for picking when it expired, from between five seconds and 24 hours.

Facebook is also running a limited beta test for other features that are some users will see an option for end-to-end encrypted group chats and calls between “friends and family that already have an existing chat thread or are already connected.” While others will get support for Facebook’s existing non-E2EE controls over who can reach them on Messenger and finally if you are using Instagram, a “limited test” will offer opt-in E2EE for that app’s direct messages as well.

This new format is used on Macs and Apple’s own Final Cut editing software. This might be limited to the Pro models, but it would be weighty for creators who shoot on their phones but then edit their shots later.

However, the form it will use in the phone is still not known, ProRes moreover allows the generation of proxy files. These files are smaller and more manageable, and can be edited on low-power systems, and can be later converted to high-quality versions for the final render.

The control and wide support for ProRes make this worthy. Moving files from iPhone to Mac would allow more creative control during editing and reserve more detail. In professional cinema, like Arri Alexa which can record in ProRes for certain video types. It is also supported by BlackMagic cameras, even though that company has now its compression system for new models.
