WhatsApp, the most used and popular messaging application, has introduced a new sticker pack for its users to non-verbally express their feelings or situations or share humour.

A new sticker pack called ‘Friends Are Family‘ has been released and can be downloaded for free. The Twitter handle releasing updates about WhatsApp, WABetaInfo, captioned the stickers pack image: “Friends Are Family’ is available now as new WhatsApp sticker pack, on WhatsApp for iOS and Android.”

The image shared by WABetaInfo says: “A good friend can make a problem disappear or turn a good time into a great one! So, here’s a pack for you and the ‘family you choose’ – your besties!”

The new sticker pack has been themed around love, memories, happiness, sadness, anger and celebration. Mexican artist WOAO has a name for drawing colourful 3D images with attractive features.

The new addition in the sticker family is free and available for download on iOS, Android and desktops. After you download them, you may update the app to evade bugs.

WhatsApp To limit features for its users From May 15 Onwards

Popular messaging application WhatsApp has intended to execute its new privacy policies, which ultimately triggered the users of the app.

The new WhatsApp policies also resulted in a digital mass-exodus, forcing WhatsApp users to shift to more secure apps such as Signal or Telegram.

Many users freaked out about their chats and data being shared with tech giant Facebook.

However, after the provoked hassle by users, the application pushed the dates for accepting the privacy policy to May 15.

It also reiterated what data it will be taking from its users, assuring them that their private chats with friends and family will remain protected by end-to-end encryption.

“The information we share with the other Facebook Companies includes your account registration information (such as your phone number), transaction data (for example, if you use Facebook Pay or Shops in WhatsApp), service-related information, information on how you interact with businesses when using our Services, mobile device information, your IP address, and may include other information identified in the Privacy Policy section entitled ‘Information We Collect’ or obtained upon notice to you or based on your consent,” WhatsApp said in a statement.

WhatsApp in its FAQs about the new privacy policy has stated that users have until May 15 to admit the new terms and conditions. If they fail to do so, the app will start to restrict its features for the users.

WhatsApp rolls out new update for its Android version

Popular messaging application WhatsApp has rolled out another new update for its Android version the 2.21.2.14 update.

According to WABetainfo, “Web releases include all bug fixes implemented in the previous beta versions submitted to Play Store. It’s like a release candidate, a final beta.”

“If you are a beta tester, you shouldn’t update to 2.21.2.14, because it’s a build reserved to everyone,” it said.

“If you aren’t a beta tester and you would like to know if there is something new in the 2.21.2.14 update, you should visit the Android page,” it said.

Moreover, you can download the latest web release for Android from official WhatsApp website.

On the other hand, WhatsApp recapitulated the argument of whether users’ conversations on the app will remain protected. The platform suggested that there is no way for the end-to-end encryption of conversations to change.

Sumikkogurashi: WhatsApp soon to roll out brand new sticker pack

Facebook-owned messaging application WhatsApp is here again with the latest update for its users with a brand new sticker pack.

WhatsApp has submitted a brand new replace via the Google Play Beta Programme — bringing the model as much as 2.21.2.10.

According to WABetaInfo, via the brand new replace, customers will probably be getting a brand new sticker pack, it mentioned, noting that the title of the pack is “Sumikkogurashi”.

WABetaInfo mentioned that the brand new sticker pack would roll out right now.

Earlier, Signal messaging platform received millions of new users after the recommendation from top businessman Elon Musk. Consequently, the app faced an outage due to a rush of new users.

Signal also gained attention from a lot of users after WhatsApp unveiled its new privacy policy. Some users reported messages failing to send on both mobile and desktop for hours on Friday.

However, the platform says it has resolved the technical issues. Signal said in a series of tweets that users might see errors in some of their chats, including missed messages, but this would not affect their security.

“Signal is back!” it said.

WhatsApp’s new privacy policy flamed controversies and several users switched to alternatives Signal and Telegram. The new policy update led several users to believe that they must allow it to share data with Facebook.

However, WhatsApp says the practice is not new and there are no changes to it.

WhatsApp said there had been “confusion” about its message, which initially gave people until 8 February to accept its updated terms or stop using the service.

WhatsApp has now changed the date to 15th May as it said it would use the time to clear up misinformation.

Do not worry if your WhatsApp stops working from January 1

As reports suggested that popular messaging application WhatsApp might stop working from January 1, 2021, the company has announced it is withdrawing support for some old devices which are currently compatible with the application.

While some users with old devices will be able to keep on using WhatsApp by updating its software, others won’t be so lucky.

Dropping support for old phones is not something new for WhatsApp. This time, the messaging platform is dropping support for any iPhone running on software older than iOS9.

This means that the iPhone 4 and other models won’t be able to access WhatsApp from January 1, 2021. iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6 and 6S can all be updated to iOS9, hence they will be able to support WhatsApp once updated.

There’s bad news for Android users as well. WhatsApp will no longer work on devices running Android 4.0.3 or older versions of the operating system.

What can users do?

First and foremost, you should find out which operating system your phone is using.

In order to find out what operating system your phone is running on, iPhone users can go to Settings > General > Information, where you will find information about the software version on your iPhone.

On the other hand, Android users can go to Settings > About Phone to see which Android version their smartphone is running on.

One of the main problems that users will face when their WhatsApp no longer remains accessible is no access to their chats.

Hence, it is important for people with any such phones mentioned above to back up their chats before January 1, 2021 if they want to retain them.

WhatsApp, the popular messaging application keeps updating users about new versions and specifications. It appears with quite useful features for users’ convenience.

This time, WhatsApp has rolled out a new beta update for iOS before the calendar year 2020 ends, which has new options and several bug fixes, Wabetainfo revealed.

The beta for iOS 2.21.10.23 enables the users to paste multiple images and videos into the messaging app.

Popular messaging application WhatsApp has rolled out a new update ahead of Christmas for its Android and iOS users, Wabetainfo said.

“WhatsApp is now releasing, at the same time with the new WhatsApp beta for Android 2.20.207.18 update, a new sticker pack called ‘Lovely Sugar Cubs’,” said the website.

WhatsApp has made the sticker pack available for previous versions of iOS and Android.

The website said that that new updates might be delayed during the Christmas holidays.

The development comes only a week after the messaging platform released “Choco Bunny & Coco”.
