King Charles penned a captivating letter to Princess Diana on the eve of their wedding.

The couple, whose marriage was arranged by their parents and became one of the most renowned royal family weddings, shared a special connection as the King expressed his love for his future wife in a heartfelt note.

According to royal author Penny Junor, “The night before the wedding, which Diana spent at Clarence House with her sister Jane, he sent her a note, along with a signet ring that bore the Prince of Wales feathers.”

In his letter, the King wrote, “I’m so proud of you and when you come up, I’ll be there at the altar for you tomorrow. Just look ’em in the eye and knock ’em dead.”

Despite the grand occasion, King Charles and Diana eventually parted ways in 1992 after an unhappy marriage and raising two children. Subsequently, he married Queen Camilla in 2005.

Prince William, Kate Middleton Set To Add To Harry & Meghan’s Worries

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been alerted to be prepared for possible consequences from Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Prince and Princess of Wales are planning state visits, which could contribute to Harry and Meghan’s concerns, as stated in a report.

According to a palace source, “State visits are back,” and there are plans for King Charles and Queen Camilla to embark on international journeys, with the Prince and Princess of Wales closely following in their footsteps.

Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, had initially expressed hope of being the jet-setting couple to complete the most state visits, they are no longer obligated to attend such events.

While Harry and Meghan reside in Montecito, US, Kate and William have several state visits lined up in the coming months, which might leave the Sussexes feeling uneasy about their “underused passports,” as mentioned by royal expert Daniela Elser.

Daniela Elser added that Harry and Meghan could have ventured anywhere and championed various causes, free from constraints or Foreign Office directives. Their potential endeavours could have included involvement in refugee camps, remote health outposts, and animal conservation projects across the globe, presenting a compassionate and unprecedented initiative.

Republic CEO reacts to royals’ tour to protect Commonwealth relations

Republic, an anti-monarchy organization, responded to reports of senior British royals planning two years of tours to safeguard Commonwealth relations.

In reaction to royal expert Richard Eden’s tweet, the group commented, “Because their last tours went so well. When William and Kate toured the Caribbean last year, it prompted host countries to declare their intention to become republics. #AbolishTheMonarchy.”

Earlier, there were indications that King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are eager to demonstrate that “soft diplomacy” can improve relations with countries. King Charles’ visit to Germany in March marked his only state visit since ascending to the throne in September.

As reported, an insider mentioned, “State visits are back in business.”

These royals tours are strategically aimed at safeguarding relations with Commonwealth members.
