FIA arrests wanted PO in human trafficking case

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency’s Immigration has arrested a wanted proclaimed offender in a human trafficking case.

FIA Immigration arrested Ajmal Muhammad, the wanted proclaimed offender in the case of human trafficking, while taking action at Islamabad Airport.

The FIA ​​spokesman says that the accused was arrested on reaching Islamabad from United Arab Emirates (UAE), the name of the accused was in the stop list, wanted by anti-human trafficking Lahore.

The FIA ​​spokesperson further said that a case was registered against the accused in 2023, the accused absconded after receiving huge sums in the name of visa.

ATC declares KP CM Gandapur as proclaimed offender

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad declared Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur as proclaimed offender (PO) in vandalism and violation of Section 144 in federal capital.

The Anti-Terrorism Court has issued a written order to declare Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as a Proclaimed Offender.  Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra issued the written order.

In which he said that in the case registered in I-9 police station over vandalism and violation of Section 144 in the federal capital, Chief Minister KP has been declared as proclaimed offender while the case has been separated from other accused.

Non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued for PTI leaders Raja Rashid Hafeez, Wasiq Qayyum, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Faisal Javed and Umar Tanveer.

Absentee accused’s lawyer files application for exemption from appearance, application for exemption from appearance of absent accused is rejected and bail bonds are cancelled.

The Anti-Terrorism Court adjourned further hearing of the case till November 28.

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister’s special assistant Mirza Shahzad Akbar has been declared a proclaimed offender.

Mirza Shehzad Akbar has been declared a proclaimed offender by the court of Civil Judge Ahmed Shehzad Gondal.

A case has been registered against former Special Assistant Mirza Shehzad Akbar in Islamabad police station secretariat.

Case number 156 was registered against Shahzad Akbar under fraud and other serious provisions.

Court starts proceedings against Moons Elahi as PO

LAHORE: The process of declaring former federal minister Moonis Elahi, the son of President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Pervaiz Elahi as a proclaimed offender (PO) has started.

The Accountability Court of Lahore has ordered the publication of an advertisement for Moonis Elahi in an alleged corruption case in development projects.

In the court, the National Accountability Bureau(NAB) said that the accused Moonis Elahi had gone into hiding to avoid arrest and he should be declared a proclaimed offender (PO).

At the request of NAB, the court ordered to start of the process of declaring Moonis Elahi as a proclaimed offender.

Chairman NAB issued an arrest warrant for Moonis Elahi on August 11. The Moonis Elahi is accused of corrupting billions of rupees in development projects.
