Shibli Faraz calls PDM third part of the axis of evil against Pakistan

Shibli Faraz, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting has slammed the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and called it the “third part of the axis of evil with India and Israel against Pakistan.”

On Sunday, Faraz criticized the PDM Quetta Jalsa for attacking Pakistan’s integrity and institutions.

While talking to the media in Islamabad, the Federal Minister also condemned the slogan chanted by the Owais Noorani regarding Balochistan in the PDM Quetta rally held today.

On Sunday, the Jamiat-i-Pakistan (JUP) leader Maulana Shah Owais Noorani peddled the Indian narrative regarding Balochistan. Netizens criticized him over his remarks.

Mobile service partially restored in Quetta

Mobile service has been partially restored in different parts of Quetta after the PDM jalsa.

According to the details, due to security concerns at the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) jalsa in Quetta today, mobile service was suspended in different parts of the city.

The sources said that consideration had been given to shut the mobile phone service in Quetta.

Sources further said that the mobile phone service would be shut down from 8 am to 9 pm. Earlier, pillion riding was also banned in Quetta for 24 hours.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Democratic Movement held an anti-government rally in Quetta today. Bilawal Bhutto, Maryam Nawaz, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman had addressed the rally to put pressure on Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has addressed the PDM Quetta Jalsa today and expressed his condolences over the blasphemy incident that happened in France.

He went on to warn the countries by saying,

“Stop such unholy actions immediately. When such unholy actions occur, remember that there will be a reaction.”

The JUI-F leader also condemned the arrest of Captain Safdar in Karachi after the PDM jalsa there.

“I call the incident with Maryam and Safdar a moral bankruptcy. A guest was arrested at the airport, we also condemn it.”

Shibli Faraz says, ‘Maryam Nawaz is full of anger and bewilderment’

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said the government will not back down from its struggle against the corrupt elements.

In a tweet on Saturday, Shibli Faraz said Prime Minister Imran Khan has awakened the nation against the corrupt gang. He said the PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz is full of anger and bewilderment.

He said these morally bankrupt and absconders cannot be the flag bearers of democracy and lead the nation.

Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he will visit London for repatriation of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif if needed.

The premier added that Pakistan’s government has contacted the British authorities to bring back Nawaz Sharif. He said that he would talk to British PM Boris Johnson in this regard.

PM Imran Khan further added that some of my party colleagues got panicked over the opposition’s last public meeting in Karachi.

He said that he told them not to worry about the protest movement against the PTI-led government.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has departed from Lahore to Quetta ahead of Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) third power show at Ayyub Stadium.

Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said the party supremo, Nawaz Sharif, would address the PDM Quetta Jalsa via video link.

She ended the speculations why Nawaz Sharif didn’t appear at the last public meeting held in Karachi and whether he was ready to repeat the same in future.

Speaking to media officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport, said that only the Sindh government should probe into the Karachi Jalsa matter, adding that no other institution had the right to hold an inquiry.

PDM Quetta Jalsa: Preparations underway; govt. deploys security forces

Ahead of the opposition rally, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) at Quetta’s Ayub Stadium, the Balochistan government has deployed more than 4,000 security officials from police, Frontier Corps (FC) and other forces.

Banners and flags of different political parties have been posed on major roads and streets across the city for the upcoming PDM rally.

Moreover, Mahmood Achakzai, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Akhtar Mengal have arrived in Quetta today, whereas, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman already reached Balochistan’s Kalat district yesterday while he will arrive in Quetta in the evening today.

According to sources, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz will depart for Quetta via a flight of a private airline along with a 10-member delegation comprising Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Captain (Retd) Safdar, Ahsan Iqbal and others.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will reach Quetta on Sunday via a special flight from Gilgit, otherwise, he will address the rally via video link.

Furthermore, Former premier and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif is also likely to address the rally’s participants from London via video link.
