LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) Imran Khan has said that the PTI is struggling for rule of law and  the supremacy of the people in the country, while the corrupt mafia is being dry-cleaned through NRO-2.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had a meeting with former prime minister Imran Khan in which the political situation and national affairs were discussed.

During the meeting, Chief Minister KP confirmed Imran Khan’s political decisions and said that he stands with him. He said all actions are for the country.

On this occasion, he said that whatever decision is taken regarding the dissolution of the assembly, it will be implemented accordingly.

On the other hand, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi also met during which the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly and the political situation were discussed.

It should be noted that in today’s public gathering at Liberty Chowk, Imran Khan will address the gathering through a video link from Zaman Park and will also announce the final date of the dissolution of the assemblies.

Former federal minister and PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi had a meeting with Imran Khan at Zaman Park last night in which the political situation of the country was discussed.

In the meeting, the date of dissolution of the Punjab Assembly was discussed with Moonis Elahi, and later on the political situation of Punjab and assured that the Muslim League-Q stands by the decision of Imran Khan and told that the Chief Ministership of Imran Khan.

LAHORE: Prime Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif called an important meeting of party leaders in Model Town to discuss the current political situation and possible dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.

Sources said senior PML-N leaders will attend the meeting and the matter of Imran Khan’s expected announcement of the dissolution of the assemblies will be discussed.

In the meeting, PML-N will finalize the strategy keeping in view the possibility of dissolution of the assembly.

During the meeting, there will be a final consultation on the constitutional and legal options to prevent the dissolution of the assembly.

Sources said the procedure for the motion of no-confidence and the vote of confidence will be decided.

PML-N sources said “If the Assembly is dissolved by Imran Khan, the party will bring forward its future strategy. The leadership will be informed about the backdoor contacts with Chief Minister Punjab Parvez Elahi to prevent assembly dissolution.”

Sources said, “If Parvez Elahi is against the dissolution of the assembly, then the PML-N will support Parvez Elahi as CM.”
