Launched in 2016 by educational authorities in Tianjin, the Luban Workshops have evolved into an international initiative, with 36 centers now operating across more than 30 countries. The program focuses on hands-on, high-level technical training designed to close skill gaps in emerging economies.

In Pakistan, the Luban Workshop was established in Lahore in 2018 and has since played a significant role in training local talent in modern industrial technologies.
