Upper Dir: A mudslide in Patrak — in the district of Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — struck a house, claiming lives of at least 12 family members.
Last night, the intense downpour caused a mudslide in Maidan Tehsil of Upper Dir district.
As a result, the house of Mr. Nawshad s/o Wali Muhammad collapsed leaving 12 members of the same family dead under the rubble.
The incident struck the neighborhood with grief over the tragedy that left 12 dead including 9 children, 2 women and 1 man.
