MONEY has been breaking Spotify records for the most streams in the shortest amount of time.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s b-side solo track MONEY sets a new high sales record in the United States.

On September 13, Allkpop announced that Lisa’s debut solo album, LALISA, had sold over 500,000 units in the United States.

Lisa is only the second female artist from Korea to achieve this feat, and she is now eligible for a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

BLACKPINK’s Jennie was the first female K-pop soloist to sell over 500,000 albums in the United States with her solo debut song, SOLO.

Despite being a side project, BLACKPINK’s Lisa MONEY has garnered a lot of love from fans all over the world since its release in September.

In fact, MONEY has been breaking Spotify records for the most streams in the shortest amount of time. This is the fastest song to reach 100 million, 200 million, and 300 million streams.

Billie Eilish joins Lisa in a new ‘Simpsons’ Disney+ short

Billie Eilish has paired up with Lisa Simpson in the latest Disney+ Simpsons short, When Billie Met Lisa, which you can see a snippet of above.

Eilish and her brother, Finneas, as well as the pop star duo’s mother and father, meet Lisa and invite her to a jam session at their studio in the short, which was released yesterday (April 22).

Lisa, who is shown practising her saxophone in a secluded area under a bridge at the start of the short, convinces Eilish to fire her in-house orchestra after hearing her musical prowess. The trio starts working on a new version of The Simpsons theme song.

Following the Star Wars-themed Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens From Its Nap, the Marvel-inspired The Good, The Bart, And The Loki, and last year’s The Simpsons in Plusaversary, which was released to celebrate Disney+ Day on November 12, this is the fourth short from The Simpsons to be released on the streaming service.

BLACKPINK: Rosé, Lisa planning solo debuts

All girl South Korean K-pop band BLACKPINK‘s members Rosé and Lisa are reportedly planning to release their solo debuts.

The news was announced on 30th December by YG Entertainment stating that,

“Rosé and Lisa are preparing for their solo debuts. Currently, they are getting ready to film their music videos.”

The company also added,

“As for Jisoo, she is busy shooting ‘Snowdrop’ (tentative title), so Rosé and Lisa will make their solo debuts first.”

It should be mentioned here that previously an agency announced plans for giving all four members potential solo debut tracks.

Earlier, BLACKPINK had landed in hot water as they were spotted cuddling a baby panda without sanitary gloves.

Residents in China had accused the girl band of harming the health of three-month-old Fu Bao.

A baby panda was featured in the trailer for BLACKPINk’s online reality show “24/365 with BLACKPINK”.

Tens of thousands of people expressed outrage and they condemned the artists, who have pet dogs and cats, for potentially spreading dangerous germs to the panda.

Some netizens have also urged South Korea to return the panda to China.
