KCR train’s route changed due to incomplete arrangements

KCR ROUTE CHANGED

The Karachi Circular Railway’s original route has changed following incomplete arrangements and to be resumed as per the initial plan.

According to Pakistan Railway officials, the first KCR train was scheduled to depart from the Orangi station at 7am on November 19, followed by subsequent departures at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm.

As per the changed route, the KCR will move from Pipri to City station, said the officials, adding that it will not travel towards Orangi station from City station.

Meanwhile, the train could not travel at more than 35km/hr on the 14-km track, said sources.
