Shanna Moakler is planning to sell off Travis Barker’s engagement ring after he married Kourtney Kardashian for the third time in Italy.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the Celebrity Big Brother alum revealed the news, saying that “that chapter” of her life is now gone.
“I believe it’s a lovely item and genuinely was my dream ring,” the model told the magazine.
“However, that chapter of my life is finished, and while wearing it once provided me tremendous joy, I hope it finds a new home and continues to bring someone as much joy as it once did to me,” she concluded.
“It’s certainly an iconic ring!” said the 47-year-old.
Moakler plans to sell the ring, which has a 4.01-carat round-cut Cartier diamond, for $120,000, adding, “It was worth around $160K.”
The auction began on May 27th and is set to finish on May 31st. It can, however, be extended depending on how much interest the ring receives.
“I’m sure people would infer that (it’s tied to the wedding), but I just wanted to find a proper seller, and Worthy.com is the most professional and I know would give this item the attention it needs,” Moakler said.
The model proposed to Barker in 2003, and the couple married a year later. The couple, who had two children together, split in 2008.
