Tuesday saw the union of Sidharth and Kiara at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Kiara accessorized her pink lehenga with hefty diamond and emerald jewelry made by the same designer for the wedding ceremony. Sidharth chose a sherwani in ivory.

The pair appeared in front of the public for the first time as husband and wife the following day at the Jaisalmer airport. They greeted the photographers and admirers. Kiara and Sidharth were walking side by side inside the airport building when Sidharth put his arm around her. They also made a brief media appearance outside the airport and wore casual attire. Sidharth sported a white T-shirt, denim leggings, and a brown leather jacket, while Kiara wore a black velvet tracksuit and a shawl. Later, they developed reddened expressions.

Kiara spent the majority of her time in Mumbai, while Sidharth is a native of Delhi. Before going into Sidharth’s house in Delhi, the two could be seen dancing to the sounds of the dhol. A fan noticed Mishal Advani, Kiara’s brother, alongside them as well. To greet the newlyweds, lights were used to decorate the couple’s Delhi residence in Defence Colony.

Like their wedding in Jaisalmer, their celebration will be a private event. A party for their business associates is also anticipated, although there has been no confirmation. We seek your blessings and love on our future journey, Kiara and Sidharth said on Instagram alongside their first official wedding images, using a quote from their movie Shershaah.

The two allegedly fell in love while producing Shershaah. They have only ever made one movie together before.

Shraddha case: Police draft 3,000-page charge sheet

Shraddha
  • Aftab Amin Poonawalla has been charged with murdering his live-in partner.
  • The police accused Aftab of providing false replies to inquiries.
  • Legal experts are reviewing the draught charge sheet issued by the Delhi Police.

New Delhi: According to Delhi Police sources, Aftab Amin Poonawalla has been charged with murdering his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and chopping her body into 35 pieces using a saw-like instrument.

According to reports, forensic and electronic evidence, in addition to 100 witnesses, has formed the basis of the more than 3,000-page draught charge sheet. The charge sheet is expected to be submitted by the end of January by the Delhi police.

According to sources, legal experts are reviewing the draught charge sheet issued by the Delhi Police.

On May 18, last year, accused Aftab Poonawalla allegedly strangled Shraddha Walkar to death in Delhi’s Chhatarpur neighborhood, then dismembered her body.

The police further stated in the charge sheet that the bones retrieved from the jungles of Chhatarpur belonged to Shraddha, and their DNA result corroborated this.

Aftab Poonawala’s confession and the narco test report are also included, albeit both of these papers, according to Delhi Police sources, are of little value in court.

The police reported on January 4 that hair and bones retrieved from a woodland area in Mehrauli, South Delhi, matched Shraddha’s.

The mitochondrial DNA report of the samples discovered in Mehrauli’s woodland region and forwarded for testing at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting Diagnostic (CDFD) in Hyderabad matched that of the victim’s father and sibling, according to the Delhi Police.

Previously, the police accused Aftab of providing false replies to inquiries.

Shraddha murder case: Delhi Police claim that a “saw-like device” was used

Shraddha
  • Shraddha Walker was reportedly murdered by her live-in lover Aaftab Amin.
  • Her corpse was sliced into 35 pieces with a saw-like tool.
  • Hair and bones were retrieved from a woodland area in Mehrauli, South Delhi.

The findings from the autopsy of Shraddha Walker‘s bones, who was reportedly murdered by her live-in lover Aaftab Amin Poonawalla, revealed that her corpse was sliced into 35 pieces with a saw-like tool, according to Delhi Police on Saturday.

On January 4, the police stated that the hair and bones retrieved from a woodland area in Mehrauli, South Delhi, matched those of Shraddha.

The mitochondrial DNA report of the samples discovered in Mehrauli’s woodland region and forwarded for testing at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting Diagnostic (CDFD) in Hyderabad matched that of the victim’s father and sibling, according to the Delhi Police.

The recent development in the case is thought to be incredibly significant since it will allow the police to charge Aaftab.

Previously, the authorities were concerned about the lack of scientific evidence of Shraddha’s body chopping because the weapon used for the purpose was unknown.

That was before the AIIMS in Delhi released its autopsy findings on the bone samples thought to be Shraddha’s.

The police are now preparing to file a charge sheet against the accused at Saket Court, along with the 164 recorded statements of witnesses, including over 50 friends of Shraddha.

According to the authorities, doctors at AIIMS Delhi discovered ‘very fine lines’ at the corners of the analyzed bones, indicating that her body was sliced with a sharp saw-like tool.

After slicing Shraddha’s body, Aaftab reportedly purchased a refrigerator to store the chopped pieces before disposing of the remains at various spots in and around Delhi at night for 18 days.

Previously, the police accused Aaftab of providing false replies to inquiries.

During the preliminary inquiry, it was discovered that Shraddha’s last known whereabouts were in Delhi, hence the matter was referred to the Delhi Police.

Aaftab and Shraddha were discovered to have relocated into a rented apartment in the Chhattarpur Pahadi area during the investigation.

During the course of their investigation, the police tracked down and apprehended Aftab.

Noida-based researcher uses AI to depict Delhi snow. The cold wave in North India is not only creating winter chills and shivering, but it is also inspiring some people’s creativity. While living in Delhi may feel like living in a hill station. Choudhury’s innovative use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) resulted in a viral social media post.

Choudhury, who works full-time as a policy researcher, rarely has time to pursue his hobbies of painting, photography, and filmmaking. “AI has bypassed the futility of spending hours, if not days, on the same thing. You can create things instantly,” he says, adding that this medium is a tremendous tool, particularly for budding artists on a tight budget.

Choudhury feels AI is much less time taking, and adds, “Most people are slowly moving away from only quality, and prioritising speed and quantity. The audience wants more and more content, and as fast as possible… A lot of filmmakers would need to create storyboards by hand before even starting the process of making a film and that takes a lot of time and money. But with AI, all you have to do is feed in a bunch of prompts based on your imagination and it can create the wildest of the visuals you need, in mere seconds!”

5-foot-long snake was saved from the Secretariat building in Delhi

5-feet-long snake

A 5-foot-long Black-headed royal snake was rescued from a grocery store (Kendriya Bhandar) at the Delhi Secretariat Building, according to a statement from the Delhi-based conservation non-profit Wildlife SOS. Staff saw the non-venomous snake coiled up snuggly beneath a stack of Bhujia packs and summoned rescuers.

Responding to the Central Secretariat Building, an animal welfare organization’s Rapid Response Unit was able to find the snake and take it into their care.

The Royal Snake is currently being treated at the NGO and will be reintroduced into its natural habitat soon.

According to Kartick Satyanarayan, Co-founder and CEO of Wildlife SOS, the snake is not an invasive species, but rather a victim of habitat loss.

“This situation is a great example to let people know that they are not intruders but inhabitants of the same city that we reside in,” he added of the rescue.

“Due to the ever-increasing anthropogenic pressure on wild habitats, animals are sometimes forced to venture into human-populated areas,”  Satyanarayan noted.

According to Wasim Akram, Deputy Director-Special Projects at Wildlife SOS, the snake, which is common in Delhi, is safe for humans.

“The Black-headed royal snake is an adaptable species and being a non-venomous reptile, they are harmless. This species is commonly found in Delhi-NCR and they mostly feed on rodents, lizards, birds and even small mammals.”
The Black-headed royal snake, which is protected under Schedule IV of the Wildlife (Protection) Act of 1972, can grow to be 7 feet long. When threatened, it may coil up and hiss as a defence strategy, however it has been known to bite in such circumstances.

Another five-foot-long, non-venomous snake was rescued earlier this month from the home of union Home Minister Amit Shah. The snake, a Checkered Keelback, had found refuge near the guard’s quarters before being removed on October 15.
