Maulana Tariq Jamil is widely admired as a beloved Islamic scholar globally. His message of peace, love, and harmony resonates with people across various sects. Despite hailing from a privileged background, Maulana opted for a markedly different path, enduring numerous challenges to dedicate his life to the preaching of Islam. This year, he faced a personal tragedy with the loss of his son, adding to the difficulties he has encountered along his journey.

He recently appeared in a show where the host asked a question about his marriage “Mostly we have seen Islamic scholars are married more than once. Maulana was asked if he had only one wife or not?” He shared that “he has been married only once and he has never even thought about getting married again. He also discussed that his wife had a tough life as he was always away for preaching but she would take care of their kids and household single-handedly. He shared that he was not present at any of his child’s birth thus he never thought about marrying again.

While talking about doing a second marriage  Maulana Tariq Jamil revealed that “he still gets proposals from women to marry them but he never considered any. Maulana said that women are a weakness for men but one should keep a tight control on themselves.”
