In a powerful demonstration of unity in support of the Palestinian cause, a group of 25 artists hailing from West Asia and North Africa (WANA) collaboratively crafted “Rajieen,” an emotionally stirring anthem that reflects the unwavering support and empathy of the Muslim world for the Palestinian people and their enduring resistance against Israeli forces.

Nasir AlBashir, a renowned Jordanian producer and multi-instrumentalist, has collaborated with Egyptian singer-songwriter and producer Marwan Moussa, along with producer Amr Shomali, to create an exceptional project.

This project’s soundtrack serves as a compelling anthem, urging the world to come together for humanitarian reasons.

Artists gathered at Levant Studios in Amman, as reported by GQ, with some others joining the shooting process remotely.

The roster of participating artists includes Saif Safadi, Dana Salah, Ghalia Chaker, Afroto, Nordo, Saif Shroof, Akhras, Issam AlNajjar, Amir Eid, Balti, Wessam Qutub, Dina Wideidi, Bataineh, Omar Rammal, AlYung, Randar, Vortex, Small X, ALA, Fuad Gritli, Donia Wael, Zeyne, Marwan Moussa, Dafencii, and the former GQ Middle East cover star, Marwan Pablo.

The creative minds behind Rajieen encompass Nasir AlBashir, Palestinian-Jordanian writer and actor Hayat Abu Samra, Jordanian creative director Farah Hourani, Reem Kanj, co-founder of Ego & East Talent Management, Hiba Abou Haidar, Founder of Beirut Records & International Artist Manager, Libyan director Ahmad Kwifiya, and Palestinian filmmaker Omar Rammal.

Blending hip-hop, rap, Arabic rhythms, and soulful elements, Rajieen’s music is on par with iconic compositions like “We Are the World” and “The Arab Dream.”

The music video for Rajieen was shot at Olive Wood Studios, the newest film production facility in Amman.

It incorporates authentic footage from Gaza and delves into the history of the Palestinian occupation, offering a raw perspective often missing in mainstream media narratives.
