Talking about it, Maria Wasti said, “It is good to take a break. I’ve heard that one should take a break. Also, I’ve been searching for better scripts and stories that I truly want to do. We often find work in abundance, but the quality is usually compromised. An actor always remains in search of a well-written, in-depth character, a role that gives the actor room to perform. I’m not enjoying the scripts I’m being offered. A person has various shades like you are a son, a father, a husband. A person is different in each of their roles and has multiple layers to their personality. But no one seems willing to write stories on such characters; they’re all following the same pattern.”
