Arshad Chaiwala rose to fame in 2016 after a photographer shared a series of pictures on Instagram, and his striking features and piercing blue eyes instantly captured everyone’s attention. Since then, he has modeled, appeared in music videos, and launched his own café business. Over the years, he expanded his career and achieved financial stability.

He has landed in major legal trouble after authorities blocked his CNIC and passport. During the ongoing crackdown on Afghan refugees in Pakistan, officials asked him to provide proof of citizenship. When he failed to do so, they blocked his identification documents. In response, Arshad has challenged the move in the Lahore High Court.

Arshad Chaiwala told the court that NADRA’s demand for pre-1978 citizenship proof for him and his family is malicious, insisting that his family is already documented. In response, the court ordered NADRA to conduct a hearing and decide on Arshad’s claim within one month.
