Bushra Ansari, a veteran Pakistani artist, continues to earn admiration for her versatile talents. She has captivated audiences with her performances in popular dramas.
Bushra Ansari recently appeared on Faysal Quraishi’s podcast “Pressure Buhat Hai”, where she discussed portraying the mother of senior actors during her youth. She indirectly addressed remarks made by actors who insist on playing age-appropriate roles.
Bushra Ansari said, “At my time, actresses were reluctant to play the character of mothers, I played Touqeer Nasir’s mother in 86 but there were actors who refused to play that character. Nauman Ijaz is also like us who never cares about playing father. We are always excited about our characters. I played Rahat Kazmi’s grandmother”.
Talking about Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’s success, Bushra Ansari said, “The reason behind Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’s success was the realistic approach of the script and relatability. All the actors, cast, and crew were perfect but the credit still goes to the writer and director for crafting a common household’s story beautifully”.
