Sohai Ali Abro, a talented and opinionated actress, has called out fake celebrity activism. After taking a break to get married and welcome her first child, Sohai is now making her return to the screen. She has recently starred in “Gentleman” and will soon be seen in “Farrar” and an upcoming film.
Sohai, who isn’t very active on social media, recently shared her thoughts on whether she considers a social message when signing a drama. She said that “having a social message is important but actors are not activists so entertainment is her priority”. She also added that “she does not like to speak out a lot as she has seen how celebrities now jump on a bandwagon and talk about something which they forget the next day.”
She said that “she is not for this activism that lasts only till an issue is trending and therefore she is careful about saying something about any issue.”
