Renowned actor Fahad Mustafa recently graced a talk show hosted by Mohib Mirza, where he humorously reflected on his career trajectory and a potential alternative path. When asked by Mirza about what he would have pursued if not for acting, Mustafa revealed, “If I were not an actor, my father would have opened a biryani restaurant for me.”
Mustafa shared an anecdote about his pre-acting days: “Before acting, my father took me to Faizan Shaikh’s home, who was already running a biryani restaurant.” He elaborated on his family’s connection with the Shaikh family, noting, “Faizan Shaikh and his wife have a biryani business, and our families already knew each other.” According to Mustafa, his mother provided insights into managing the biryani business, detailing “how the biryani business was managed and the challenges faced.”
Adding a touch of humor, Mustafa remarked, “If I hadn’t become an actor, I would have opened a biryani restaurant.” When Mirza inquired about the inclusion of potatoes in biryani, a widely debated topic, Mustafa jokingly said, “I did not know biryani had potatoes in it, but my life has become a potato.”
