Initially, he received public sympathy for his ordeal. However, questions arose when it was revealed that he had met with the model Aamna Arooj at 4:40 a.m. on the night of his abduction.
Kidnapper, Hassan Raza Shah, has provided a startling account of the events to Syed Ali Haider. Shah claims that Qamar was not kidnapped but rather had a pre-existing relationship with Arooj.
According to Shah, Qamar frequently contacted Arooj and was involved in inappropriate behavior. He alleges that he possesses two videos showing Qamar in a drunken state, behaving inappropriately towards Arooj, who was reportedly not reciprocating his advances.
