As an actress, storyteller, and activist, Sania Saeed consistently advocates for justice and raises her voice against injustices affecting both humans and animals. Pakistan has witnessed a surge in cases of animal violence, often involving young children torturing animals on the streets. Sania Saeed addressed this issue as a guest on Masarrat Misbah’s show.
Sania Saeed said that “the parents must teach kindness to kids and it can be easily through animals. She said that though animals’ children can learn to receive non-verbal cues and when they grow up caring for animals and seeing their parents being kind to animals, they become more empathetic.”
Sania Saeed highlighted Pakistani people’s disrespect towards children, noting that their wishes and opinions are often disregarded, mirroring the treatment of animals in society. She said that “as people are not even respectful towards their kids, she cannot think that they will be empathetic towards animals either. She said that working for children and animals can be done simultaneously and this will make our society better.”
