In recent years, many influential people have embraced Islam, and the latest addition to the list is American Rapper Jonathan H Smith, commonly known as Lil Jon among his followers. He is a famous singer who has produced several hits in his career such as Yeah, What You Gon Do, and Snap Yo Fingers. Lil Jon has just taken a significant step in his life by entering the fold of Islam.
While present at a mosque in Los Angeles, he recited his Shahadah in both Arabic and English. He has been leaning towards meditation for some time, and he wanted to delve deeper into it. This journey has led him to Islam.
Recently, American activist and writer Shaun King embraced Islam, and now Lil Jon has recited his Shahadah in Ramadan 2024. Lil Jon expressed gratitude to all the brothers and sisters for welcoming him into the fold:
