Emirates Draw Unveils Historic Dh200 Million Prize for Mega7 Category in 2024

Emirates Draw has revealed an incredible Dh200 million prize, the biggest ever in the UAE, to start 2024 with a bang. This massive amount is up for grabs in the Mega7 category, and people can enter from now until 8:30 pm on December 31. To win, you need to match all seven numbers drawn on Sunday.

The managing partner of Emirates Draw, Mohammad Alawadhi, is excited about this record-breaking cash prize, hoping it brings positivity to the new year. Paul Chader, the head of commercial, highlights that the Dh200 million Grand Prize is at least 25 times more attainable compared to industry standards.

If multiple participants match all seven numbers, the grand prize will be shared. The Mega7 category provides two chances to win with each ticket, even if you match just three numbers out of the 37 selections.

During the New Year Grand Draw, 15 winners of Dh10,000 each will be randomly chosen. Winners can choose to receive their winnings as a lump sum or in installments over a set period.

Chader notes the diverse preferences of winners, with some opting for a lump sum and others choosing monthly installments. Anyone 18 or older can easily buy an Emirates Draw MEGA7 ticket from anywhere globally through their website or app.

KARACHI: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle Karachi arrested the proclaimed offender (PO) suspect involved in banking fraud by taking a major action.

According to the details, the accused was involved in creating fake accounts in a private bank, the accused created a fake bank account in the name of the complainant with the connivance of the private bank staff.

The FIA ​​spokesperson said that the accused obtained fake cheque books and issued cheques of various amounts which were later bounced. The court issued orders for the registration of a case against the accused.

According to the spokesperson of FIA, a case was registered against the accused Muhammad Fayaz in the year 2020. The accused was arrested in Karachi.

The spokesman further said that the accused was in hiding for the last two years while several raids were conducted to arrest the accused.

The accused was arrested and the investigation started.

The ECP has issued a letter to all Returning Officers(ROs) in which SOPs have been issued regarding accreditation cards for domestic observers and media.

According to the letter, all media representatives can apply for the accreditation card.

The Election Commission said in the letter that representatives of local NGOs, civil society can also get accreditation cards. The ECP will provide maximum facilities for the observation and coverage of the election process.

It should be noted that the ECP has set the date of the general elections in the country on February 8, 2024, for which all the candidates have submitted their nomination papers and scrutiny of papers have also started.

KARACHI:  A delegation of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Turbat, Balochistan, visited the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), and Dr A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (KIBGE) of the University of Karachi.

Three faculty members, 17 male and 15 female students all from the final year of the BS and MSc programs were part of the three-day study tour to Karachi.

They also met the KU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi at KIGBE and shared their experiences regarding the visit to two centers of excellence institutes of the University of Karachi.

On this occasion, the KU VC Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi offered on-hand training programs and internships to the students of the University of Turbat. He said that the KU would also provide accommodation, logistics, and transportation facilities to the students visiting the KU from Balochistan.

He also offered that the KU Centralized Science Lab will provide free of cost facilities to the students of Turbat University and shared that the KU would like to start a lecture series for them so that they could learn from the experiences of KU faculty.

The KU VC Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi asked the students to educate at least one child in their respective areas to bring a change in society. He said that providing education to the masses is the way forward for Pakistan and all educational institutions should play their role in this regard.

He termed that Balochistan and some other parts of the country are still underdeveloped so this is our responsibility to help them in every possible way. He also offered that the MPhil and PhD students of the University of Turbat could have co-supervisors from the University of Karachi.
