PESHAWAR:The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) Bar Council on Friday announced a strike against the murderous attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council announced the strike and said that lawyers will not appear in the courts across the province today.
The Bar Council strongly condemned the firing on long march and said that even political leaders are not safe from open terrorism, the firing incident is a question mark on the security arrangements.
On the other hand, a shutter down strike has been announced across Balochistan including Quetta against the assassination attempt on former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
On the call of Tehreek-e-Insaf Balochistan, the shutter down strike is observed. The main markets and shops of Quetta are also closed due to the strike.
PTI Balochistan will march against the incident at 3 o’clock and the protest march will go from PTI Secretariat to Manan Chowk.
Due to the strike, security has also been tightened in the city and additional personnel has been deployed at key locations in the city.
PTI Balochistan has called a core committee meeting today.
It should be noted that apart from Quetta, a shutter down strike has also been announced in Loralai, Musa Khel, Zhob, and Pishin.
