ISLAMABAD: The federal government has established a temporary jail in Islamabad and also issued a notification in this regard.
The federal government has given the status of sub-jail to the CIA Center Industrial Area and a notification has also been issued to declare the CIA Center as a sub-jail.
According to the notification issued by the Chief Commissioner Islamabad the records of prisoners will be kept by a grade seventeen-officer in the Jail. The arrested political activists will be kept in Jail at I-Nine CIA Center.
Due to the absence of jail in the federal capital and a temporary jail has been set up in view of possible arrests of Tehreek-e-Insaaf(PTI) workers.
Earlier, Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran was injured when a man reportedly opened fire near the reception camp at Allahwala Chowk, in Wazirabad during PTI’s long march.

Other PTI leaders including former Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Faisal Javed, were injured in a murderous attack on the former prime minister.
PTI Secretary General Asad Umar confirmed that Chairman PTI has received multiple injuries but he is safe.
