The Pak-Qatar Asset Management Company Limited (PQAMCL) has announced the approval for the launch of its Shariah-compliant collective investment schemes, a statement said.

After getting the approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for the launch of its mutual funds schemes, PQAMCL is going for the initial public offering (IPO) of its funds.

PQAMCL obtained its licence to operate as an asset management company and investment advisor in December, 2021.

PQAMCL Chief Executive Officer Farhan Shaukat said the management of the company is pleased to announce obtaining approval to offer a wide variety of Shariah-compliant collective investment schemes with a flavour of Takaful which is unique in the existing market.

“We are also the second company that is exclusively offering the Shariah-compliant collective investment schemes in Pakistan. We aim to encourage our customers to invest in our funds that are designed specifically for their investment needs. We are looking forward to providing the best investment solutions in the country to our customers,” he added.

The Company has obtained approval to launch three Shariah-compliant funds along with six plans catering needs of masses. PQAMCL, being a group company having strong takaful arms will augment Takaful benefits with its investment plans.

PQAMCL has a vision to “improve people’s lifestyles through the right investments with Riba-free returns”. It aims to offer its customers with the best-in-class technology advanced investment solutions, mutual funds, and investment advisory services.

The Moto Razr 2022 is Motorola’s most recent foldable smartphone, and it was just released in the Chinese market in August.

Although the firm hasn’t yet introduced this model to the world market, a recently released press render has shown off its whole look and suggests that it might be available in other places as well.

The press renders, which highlight the essential features of the new Razr 2022, were given by well-known leaker Evan Blass (also known as EvLeaks), who provided the information.

For those who are unaware, this smartphone has a foldable clamshell screen with a larger outside display than its forerunner.

The new cover display, which is 2.7 inches in size, adds capability for more games, message answers, and more.

The device has a dual camera configuration on the back that consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, as seen in the leaked press renders.

A 32-megapixel selfie camera will be mounted on the front and have a punch hole cutout. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and water-resistant protection, according to the marketing photos.

The primary foldable display is 6.7 inches in size and has a refresh rate of 144 hertz on the front.

The Moto Razr 2022 is powered by a 3,500mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging and has an internal Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The system comes pre-installed with MyUX 4.0, a custom skin based on Android 12 OS.

After divorcing his wife Alizey Sultan, actor Feroze Khan turned to family court for visitation and custody of his two children.

Muhammad Sultan Khan and Fatima Khan’s father, Khan, filed a petition with the Family Judge-VIII (East) asking for Muhammad Sultan Khan and Fatima Khan’s permanent custody under Section 25 of the Guardian and Wards Act as well as permission to see them once a week until the matter is resolved under Section 12 of the Act. Ms. Sultan was instructed to submit her written response.

The youngsters were presented in court on Wednesday by the female respondent, where they also had a meeting with their father. A separate application by Khan under Section 100 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) asking for the return of his children through the SHO of the Gulistan-e-Jahaur police station was dismissed by the judge, who noted that it had become infructuous because the minors had already appeared in court and met their father.

The hearing was postponed until October 1 because Ms. Sultan needs to submit a written statement regarding the application by then.

Sultan and Khan exchanged vows on March 30, 2018.

Khan claimed that he divorced Ms. Sultan on September 3 “due to unavoidable circumstances and lack of understanding” between them since she was not “obedient towards him,” according to a statement made by his attorney Faique Ali Jagirani.”

The attorney claimed that because his client was the children’s natural guardian, he could not leave them in the care of his ex-wife because “she is a negligent lady” and he had severe concerns for their future.” He insisted that the actor was entirely entitled to see, meet, and visit his children and to get legal custody of them.

The attorney said that Ms. Sultan was preventing Khan from seeing the children and pleaded with the court to order her to permanently transfer custody of the children to him while still allowing him to see them once a week until the application is decided.
