In order to “maximize their finances,” Prince Harry is alleged to have leveraged the excitement surrounding the memoir as a “publicity push.”
This charge was made by royal biographer and novelist Dan Wootton in an article.
He claimed, “Of course, the book is just the start of the hyper publicity drive planned by the Sussexes to maximize their finances and prove they’re a valuable asset to their bosses at Netflix and Spotify, which have both demanded their pound of royal flesh,” before accusing Prince Harry of using his memoir buzz to gain influence.
“It would be a shattering disappointment if Harry and Meghan used the celebrations to promote their seemingly never-ending thirst for financial gain,” the article stated.
“While I thought her comments to be more than a little ironic, given that the Queen was the target of her journalistically deficient ‘interview,’ perhaps the couple should take their friend Oprah Winfrey’s advice seriously.”
The Sussexes have received a number of extremely severe ad hominem and factually incorrect assaults, to which they are unable to counter, but Charles and William have nevertheless given them the chance for peace.
Now it’s up to Harry and Meghan to finally put the Queen’s wishes for a strong and cohesive family in the wake of her death ahead of their own fruitless and ultimately destructive quest for vengeance.
