The Queen was seen getting tearful during a song during her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh’s, memorial ceremony this week.
The 95-year-old monarch, along with other members of the Royal Family and more than 30 foreign royals, attended the service at Westminster Abbey.

500 delegates from charities and organisations patronised by the Duke of Edinburgh were also there, and the day was extremely emotional for everyone at the Abbey. True Royalty TV co-founder Nick Bullen addressed one particular moment that moved the Queen to tears with the hosts of Royally US this week.
Bullen said, “For me, probably, one of the most emotional moments was when they were singing ‘Guide me o thou great redeemer. I think that’s when the Queen’s eyes really seemed to well.”
The Duke of Edinburgh explicitly requested that the stirring song be sung during his funeral, however, it was not played at the event.
Mr Bullen cited a previous remark made by broadcaster Christine Ross about it being “a family event” and added: “If you were at a memorial for your husband, father, grandfather, you’re going to possibly shed a tear”.
