Tyga, an American rapper, has gifted his current girlfriend Avril Lavigne a $80,000 diamond chain as their relationship progresses.
According to reports, the couple recently announced their affair following her breakup from boyfriend Mod Sun. Avril has been spotted wearing the striking pendant in Los Angeles. Tyga commissioned jeweller Eric Mavani to design the diamond chain for Avril.
The stunning necklace is made up of 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds, and pink sapphires. Eric informed TMZ that Tyga approached him three weeks ago to request the unique necklace before the couple went public with their affair.
According to rumours, the necklace has Avril’s name as well as skulls and etching on the reverse that says “Created for Avril Lavigne.”
The couple announced their new affair earlier this month. Yet, it appears that her previous fiance Mod Sun’s admirers are dissatisfied with the news. At a concert in New York City on Wednesday night, he finished by chanting “F*** Tyga” before the audience joined in. The uproar began when rapper Travie McCoy delivered a speech.
He said: “I just wanted to give all the love I have in my heart right now to a brother, Mod Sun.”
He then described how the two ran into each other on Melrose Avenue and proclaimed their love for each other. I will say this: he is one of the three most loyal motherf***ers I have ever met in my life,” he added.
