Meghan Markle’s ex-girlfriend has accused her and Prince Harry of betraying the Queen by cruelly abandoning her at Prince Philip’s burial service.
Lizzie Cundy believes Harry should have taken up Prince Andrew’s discredited position of leading the Queen into Westminster Abbey.
Instead, the Duke of Sussex stayed at his £11 million Californian estate with wife Meghan, claiming his absence on a dispute over police security – despite the fact that he is due to visit the Netherlands for the Invictus Games in two weeks.
The former model has criticised the justification, claiming that public opinion is shifting against the pair.
Lizzie told The Sun, “It was extremely low and incredibly selfish of him and Meghan.”
“Prince Harry should have come.” Forget his nagging, whining, and snide remarks about the country; he should prioritise his grandma.
“People are tired of their excuses and their desire for others to feel sorry for them.”
“It’s playing the ‘poor me’ card, and there’s only so much of that you can take.”
“The justifications are becoming more egregious. They’re becoming tiresome, and no one is interested.”
