Mark Hoppus sheds light on cancer battle in Thanksgiving message

Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus started his Thanksgiving with an open discussion about his cancer battle.

The 49-year-old disclosed in September that he had been declared cancer-free just months after being diagnosed with lymphoma.

He wrote a lengthy message to his fans while taking a throwback selfie in front of the toilet.

“I have so much to be thankful for today. This photo is from June, halfway through chemo, no idea if it was working or not, relegated to the bathroom floor, retching,” he captioned the post.

“If I ever complain about something trivial or unimportant, please show me this photo to remind me of how bad things can be, and how truly blessed I am.

“I hope you all have an amazing day with friends and family. Happy Thanksgiving.”

Kim Kardashian has alleged that Kanye West “didn’t like” him wearing his Donald Trump slogan ‘Make America Great Again‘ cap and that his unsuccessful presidential candidacy had “embarrassed” her.

The rapper took to Instagram to post a Thanksgiving prayer, alleging that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was troubled by his recent news appearance in South Carolina, where he claimed that the former couple had pondered aborting their now eight-year-old daughter North.

“Let’s go with politics here. Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat. Being a good wife, [Kim] wanted to protect me and our family,” he said of the controversial cap he wore in the years leading up to his own presidential campaign.
