FBI Issues Warning to Crypto Users

FBI

The FBI has issued a nationwide alert to users about suspected cyber-attacks on cryptocurrency exchanges and holders. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation announced this week that active threats to the business exist.

According to the FBI, certain people are carefully tracking weak holes in major crypto firms. Attackers have evolved a variety of specialized tactics to accomplish this. Sim swapping, tech support fraud, and account theft are examples of these.

The FBI made instructions for businesses on how to keep their assets protected.

The warning was distributed via the TLP protocol (a system for classifying sensitive information), which was created particularly for information distribution. The announcement also included a green designation, indicating that peers and organizations can exchange this information.

The FBI recommended cryptocurrency users to always use two-factor authentication and be cautious about the information they provide online.

Even though they’re simple to conduct, sim swap attacks are most difficult to defend.

Ranveer Singh Was first choice to play Sandeep Singh in “Soorma”

Ranveer Singh Was first choice to play Sandeep Singh in "Soorma"

Ranveer Singh was considered as the lead actor for ”Soorma” said former hockey captain Sandeep Singh. Diljit Dosanjh had played the role in Sandeep’s biopic

Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh said that actor Ranveer Singh was ‘certainly considered’ for the starring role in Soorma instead of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh . Ranveer Singh was not his first choice, according to Haryana’s minister of sports and youth affairs, because he wanted the person who would play him in his biopic to ‘look like a real Sikh.’

Soorma’s debut album was launched on this day on July 13 in 2018, and it hit the right chord with the audience. The storyline of the film was inspired by genuine events, and it focused on top hockey player Sandeep Singh, who was accidentally shot during a train journey in 2006. He was nearly paralyzed for a year, yet he overcame all odds and regained his ability to walk.

Sandeep Singh took it upon himself to train Diljit Dosanjh after he was cast in the role of his character on the big screen. He is all praises for the actor’s quick learning power. He says, “It was really easy training Diljit Dosanjh because his nature is as such that he picks up things really quick. It took me hardly three-four months to train Diljit because his learning power is quick.”

Sandeep Singh further said that he is grateful for the overwhelming response he received from the people. “I got the kind of love I wasn’t expecting,” he added. People were enthralled by my journey in the film. It wasn’t simple to tell my life narrative in 2 hours and 20 minutes on the screen because I had a lot of challenges throughout my life. You want to show everything that went on behind the scenes, but it’s impossible to do so.

However, the Soorma team did it so wonderfully. I owe it to them, especially Diljit Dosanjh, who did an excellent job in my capacity. I’d want to thank Taapsee Pannu, director Shaad Ali, and the producers for three years of Soorma (Chitrangada Singh and Deepak Singh). Everyone did a fantastic job of bringing the true tale to the audience.

Last year, Sandeep, also known as Flicker Singh, had confirmed a sequel to Soorma. The new film will be based on his political journey and will be titled Singh Soorma.

“After the Success & Love Showered by All on Soorma now commencing with The Onward Journey of Sandeep Singh as Singh Soorma with my Bro and Producer Deepak Singh,” he tweeted on July 13, 2020. Seek Ur Support and Blessings.” In 2010, Sandeep was awarded the Arjuna award.

Ban On TLP Not Lifted, Federal Cabinet Announces Decision

TLP ban Federal cabinet

The Federal Cabinet has on Tuesday (today) decided to keep the ban on proscribed organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), according to sources.

According to sources, the decision about the TLP ban was taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Cabinet approved a report presented to it on the banned outfit by the committee tasked to review the decision to blacklist the organisation.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said the government and Opposition were on the same page on several points related to the electoral reforms.

“We aim to make the elections transparent, and through the electronic voting machines, we will be able to achieve our goal,” the information minister said.

Punjab Home Department’s Plea To Extend TLP Chief Detention, Rejected

A review board of the Lahore High Court had rejected a request by the Punjab Home Department to extend the detention of banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Saad Hussain Rizvi, paving the way for his release.

The decision was announced by the Provincial Review Board comprising Justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan, Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan of the Lahore High Court during a closed-door hearing where the Punjab Home Department’s request for extension in detention of the TLP chief was heard.

Saad Hussain Rizvi was arrested on April 12 on charges of inciting his supporters to take the law into his own hands because he said the government had reneged on its promise to expel the French ambassador.

Government Banned TLP After Violent Clashes Across Pakistan

Four police officers were martyred and over 600 were injured in clashes all over Pakistan last week.

The government said it had arrested Saad Rizvi as talks between both sides broke down after it emerged the religiopolitical party was planning on marching to Islamabad to hold a sit-in protest.

The TLP had demanded the expulsion of the French ambassador from Pakistan over French President Emmanuel Macron’s support for blasphemous sketches of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The interior ministry then moved to ban the TLP under the anti-terrorism law last week.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had said the decision was taken at the Punjab government’s request.

Acclaimed Pakistani actress Actor Mahira Khan has recently quashed rumours of cosmetic surgery with her iconic banter.

In a recent interview, Mahira Khan touched on the misunderstandings people usually have about her, one of which is that she has undergone a nose job.

“Okay, you have got to zoom in to my nose. I have not gotten a nose job. If I had gotten a nose job, I would have been like… And Babar wouldn’t have to contour so much,” she referred to her makeup artist.

The Raees starlet then revealed that she has experienced body image issues just like any other woman. There are days when she feels depressed and anxious about her looks and body image.

“It would be a lie if I said that I struggle with body image issues. But I can empathise with body image issues. Everyone’s on social media, you don’t need to be a celebrity to go through that. Because the kind of images we are constantly putting out is unreal,” Mahira confessed.

“I struggle with a lot of other things. I struggle with anxiety, stress and sometimes, being myself. Like, I used to be able to laugh and talk and be funny, whatever my sense of humour was.
