Actress Ghana Ali has come to the defense of Angeline Malik following a car crash involving two vehicles at Sea View, Karachi. The incident, caused by a tire burst, led to Malik being harassed by a crowd despite her calm demeanor and efforts to manage the situation.
On Instagram, Ghana Ali addressed false rumors suggesting that Malik was intoxicated at the time of the crash. Ali clarified, “Malik appeared calm and composed amid the chaos,” and emphasized that she was not trying to escape but was unfairly targeted by the crowd. “People are literally harassing her and taking her phone just because she is from the media,” Ali added.
The video circulating on social media shows a mob surrounding Malik’s car, with some bystanders forcibly taking her phone while she pleaded for its return. Ali criticized the crowd’s behavior, noting that Malik was provoked but remained composed. She warned that had Malik reacted angrily, it could have been used to further tarnish her reputation.
The crash, which involved a Toyota Revo colliding with a rickshaw and a black Toyota Corolla, prompted police intervention. Officials from the Darakhshan police station arrived to disperse the crowd and investigate the cause of the tire burst.
