Pakistan Gold defeated Pakistan Greens by 101 runs to win the National Champions Cup One-Day Cricket Tournament.
Pakistan Gold secured the title thanks to centuries from Shamyl Hussain and Saad Khan, while captain Shaheen Afridi delivered a superb bowling performance, taking seven wickets, including a hat trick.
In the final played at Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan Gold won the toss and elected to bat first. The team was bowled out for 340 on the final ball of its innings.
Saad Khan and Shamyl Hussain led the batting effort with impressive centuries. Saad scored 112 runs, while Shamyl made 111.
For Pakistan Greens, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah took two wickets each.
Chasing a target of 341 runs, Pakistan Greens were bowled out for 239 in the 38th over after a devastating spell from Shaheen Afridi. Saad Baig scored 67 runs, while Umair Yousuf contributed 44.
Shaheen Afridi was the standout bowler for Pakistan Gold, taking seven wickets for 36 runs, including a hat trick. Razaullah, Mubasir Khan and Faisal Akram took one wicket each.
