ISLAMABAD: With Independence Day just around the corner, a new patriotic melody is adding to Pakistan’s Aug. 14 celebrations as the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) releases “Mera Pyara Watan Pakistan,” a song that blends national pride with the scenic beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The song features Gilgit-Baltistan-based singer Majid Ahmer, whose vocals bring the region’s cultural character into the patriotic composition.

The lyrics celebrate Pakistan as a source of life and identity, while highlighting the love, loyalty and devotion of its people toward their homeland.

The song also showcases the breathtaking valleys and landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan, linking Pakistan’s natural beauty with a message of unity and patriotism.

Through its music and imagery, the ISPR production aims to strengthen the spirit of national pride as Pakistan prepares to celebrate its 79th Independence Day on Aug. 14.
