SHC moved against MDCAT exam

KARACHI: A petition was filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against recently conducted Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) exam and seeking annulment of MDCAT results. A petition was filed in the Sindh High Court against the alleged irregularities in the MDCAT exam. Sindh Government, Dow Medical and Health Sciences (DUHS), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and others have been made parties in the petition. Nawaz Dahri, advocate, said that the MDCAT exam was conducted on September 22, and the paper was released on social media before the test. Nawaz Dahri Advocate stated that more than 160 out of 200 questions were on social media. He pleaded that the results of MDCAT be annulled and the exam be conducted again and the investigation of the leak of the entrance test paper should be conducted by joint investigation team (JIT) Earlier, students staged protest in front of the Dow University of Health Sciences gate expressing their reservations about the MDCAT exam and leakage of paper. Students had said almost the questions of MDCAT and the paper that went viral on social media were the same.
