Kandhkot: District Health Officer (DHO) has recommended departmental action against 76 doctors and lady doctors posted at PPHI units, various rural health centers, and hospitals across the Kashmore district.
According to the DHO, despite being issued show-cause notices on four separate occasions, the absentee medical staff failed to submit any responses. Due to their prolonged absence, several departments in hospitals remain understaffed, leaving patients distressed and unattended.
Sources reveal that a significant number of the absentee doctors and lady doctors are currently residing abroad.
The DHO has formally requested the Secretary of Health to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the absent personnel.
