US President Donald Trump said in a social media post that Iran has officially become a failed state, while making several claims about the country’s economic, military and political conditions.
Trump claimed that Iran has no navy, air force or currency and said the country is unable to pay its military personnel and police officers.
He also claimed that Iran’s inflation rate has reached 300% and said the Iranian leadership is in complete disarray and unable to effectively represent the country.
Trump further claimed that more than 100,000 protesters have been killed so far.
The U.S. president also called for cases involving crimes against humanity to be brought against Iran.
