KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a modest increase on Wednesday, following a slight uptick in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs300 per tola, reaching Rs354, 665.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs258, now standing at Rs304,068.
In the international market, gold gained $3 per ounce, pushing the global price to $3,330 per ounce.
Traders attribute the rise to ongoing global economic uncertainty and fluctuations in the international bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in the country today is Rs. 354,365 after a decrease of Rs 10,400.
According to the association, the price of 10 grams of gold has also decreased by Rs 8,917 to Rs. 303,811.
On the other hand, the price of gold in the global market has decreased by $104 to $3,248 per ounce.
