While opinions differed, there were those who concurred with her, expressing how much they loved the show’s realism and production value. Simi’s endorsement comes after “Made in Heaven” season 2 began streaming on Prime Video, featuring familiar faces like Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur as wedding planners, orchestrating more extravagant weddings with added drama.

The second season retains the core cast from season 1, introducing new actors like Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra Haldar. Guest appearances include Mrunal Thakur, Radhika Apte, Shibani Dandekar, Neelam Kothari, and Sarah Jane Dias as brides. However, the show faced controversy when Dalit author and journalist Yashica Dutt claimed that her memoir, “Coming Out as Dalit: A Memoir,” served as inspiration for an episode in season 2. Despite this, the show’s makers refuted the claims. Moreover, fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani criticized the show for using his designs without credit, exposing a dispute about the use of his creations in the series.

Veteran entertainer Zeenat Aman in her new Instagram post discussed her affection for London. The city is her “second home,” she says. She also explained why her followers might not frequently see her promoting brands via her posts as frequently as other Bollywood celebrities. The 71-year-old wrote, “Oxford Street has changed over the last 45 years, but not nearly as much as I have.” She also showed fans a picture of herself walking the streets of the UK capital. Showing the boys my old haunts while I’m in London has been so much fun. The city served as a sort of second home for a number of years, with personal visits and filming there.

“When I was in my twenties, I would rush to this street to peruse the Selfridges aisles. I adored their summerwear, which at the time were unavailable in India. Therefore, I would purchase multiple colors of an outfit I liked when I found one! “It would be time for further retail therapy at Harrods once my shopping bags were in hand,” she said as she took a trip back in time.

In a photo that she shared, she can be seen candidly posing in London. She wore a long black coat and an all-black ensemble. She likewise uncovered her choice to not elevate more than three to four brands per month.

Zeenat shared a photo of herself from her younger days, when she was preparing for Satyam Shivam Sundaram’s look test. Zeenat is wearing a blouse and sitting down with a smile on her face in the photo. Zeenat went on to describe the attention her appearance in the film received at the time, writing, “Anyone familiar with Bollywood history will recall the uproar and controversy surrounding my character Rupa in Satyam Shivam Sundaram. I was always amused by the accusations of obscenity because I did not and still do not find the human body obscene. These looks were part of my job as a director’s actor. Rupa’s sensuality was not the plot’s center, but rather a component of it. As it stands, the set is not even remotely sensual. Every move is choreographed, practiced, and performed in front of a slew of crew members.”

The actor also revealed that director Raj Kapoor was initially unsure if she would be a good fit for this role because of her ‘western’ image. Fans praised her candor and grace in the comments section of the post. “Can’t imagine any other actress playing that part in Satyam Shivam Sundaram… you were perfect for it,” one fan wrote. Another comment stated: “Hearing these stories is magical, like opening a time capsule and peering into a bygone era. Zeenat Aman Ji, you are an icon in your own right.”
