Rohit Shetty, the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, introduced a team task last weekend, which caused rifts among the contestants.
If you watched Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 over the weekend, you were in for a rude surprise. During the elimination, the otherwise “happy gang” got into a heated argument. For the uninitiated, Rohit Shetty added a ‘team challenge’ twist this week, with contestants separated into two groups led by Shweta Tiwari and Rahul Vaidya.
Getting the first chance to pick, Rahul selected Varun Sood, Vishal Aditya Singh, Arjun Bijlani, Maheck Chahal, and Nikki Tamboli. On the other hand, Shweta chose mostly girls in her team, Divyanka Tripathi, Aastha Gill, Sana Makbul, Anushka Sen, and Abhinav Shukla. Even though both teams had their own strengths, Rahul and his group managed to dominate the tasks, putting Shweta’s team in danger.
As host Rohit Shetty discussed where Shweta Tiwari went wrong before the elimination challenge, the other team accused her of picking the wrong people. The captain had to deal with criticism from all sides, from being told she didn’t have “man” strength to making fast judgments based on bondings. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay star stood up for her teammates and returned the favor.
Nikki Tamboli was insulted when she called her an underperformer who quits most tasks in a fit of rage. Divyanka Tripathi joined the fight as an irate Nikki fought Shweta. However, her remark that “Nikki is too cute to fight with” made the contestants laugh out loud.
At the end of the day, Shweta Tiwari sent Aastha Gill and Abhinav Shukla for the elimination task, which leads to Aastha’s exit from the show.
