In a recent episode of The Night Show with Ayaz Samoo, Mathira discussed the obstacles and rejections she encountered when trying to break into the mainstream media. When Ayaz Samoo posed the question, “Were you rejected on television and producers told you that you are not television material?,” she replied, “Yes, I was told by the industry people that I’m not a TV material. I was rejected when I badly needed the job, as I had just gone through a difficult divorce, and at that time people said that you are dark, had you been a little fairer you could look innocent, so I said to them, “Okay, I am bad.”

She continued, “Yes, producers are reluctant to put me in the projects; it’s true, and I still don’t know why; however, I don’t give producers any hard time. I was focused towards my career but in the past (15 years ago) it was a trend to get settled early, nowadays, it’s good that even girls are focused on careers and getting married late, and Early marriage is not advised since one learns a lot in life by experiences and can only gain knowledge of many things by travelling and mingling with people. This allows one to make better decisions and judgements in life. Later on, in The Insta Show, she confronted him about a significant altercation with his wife. He jokingly boasted that he had just struck her before coming to the show. Mathira was astounded and had a hard time finding the right words to describe how disgusted she was with this domestic abuse.

She stated: ‘This is not a joke at all. The man who claims that I simply arrived after hitting her makes me angry. This does not sound good, but it just serves to highlight how highly he thought of his wife’.

You are speaking rubbish on a major television programme, I notice. How is that good?” questioned Mathira.

The Tiktoker excused that it wasn’t because he didn’t respect his wife in an effort to minimise his admission.

In response, he said, “First of all, I told you that I respect her,” and he noted that an argument-free relationship is not indicative of true love. Talking about respect and truly exhibiting respect, in Mathira’s opinion, are two different things.

The Tiktoker then asserted that his “joke strike” on his wife was only a lighthearted act. Mathira concluded that he made a poor verbal choice. Since then, the video has gained popularity on social media.

Newlywed YouTuber Raza Samo and his wife Moona made guest appearances on Mathira’s ‘The Insta Show’ on BOL Entertainment.

The YouTube community in Pakistan has expanded significantly in recent years. We have seen a lot of YouTube stars with huge fan bases that are followed for both their material and personal life, from Zaid Ali to Sham Idrees to Ducky Bhai and Raza Samo who is known for his channel Khujlee Family. Recently, Moona and Raza Samo were married, and he posted photos to Instagram.

On Mathira’s The Insta Show, Raza Samo was a guest and stated that his wife was a fan of his and had sent him a drawing she had created of him. They then began conversing. Raza was initially mesmerized by his wife’s beauty before later falling in love with her character. It was love at first sight for Raza.

Raza continued by saying that they chose a straightforward wedding ceremony since he didn’t understand the point of calling people they hardly even know in real life. Additionally, he stated that since he was paying for his wedding, he only wanted close relatives and friends there.
