Aijaz Aslam Shares Hilarious Story: Robbed Twice & Mistaken For Junaid Jamshed

The first time, the robbers mistook him for Junaid Jamshed.
He revealed that the first time he was robbed, was during Ramadan.

On the show “Had Kar Di,” Aijaz Aslam was a guest. He spoke candidly about a funny incident in which he was robbed twice in Karachi. The first time, the robbers mistook him for the late religious television presenter Junaid Jamshed.

The actor said that while he was in Karachi during Ramadan, a bunch of robbers first knocked on his car window before approaching him. The “Cheekh” actor chuckled as he related how the robbers initially greeted him with “Junaid bhai” before realizing who he was and asking for his phone.

When Aijaz and his companion were ready to get into their car after leaving a friend’s studio the second time he remembered being robbed, two young boys came up to them brandishing a silver revolver and demanding that they turn over their phones.

I pulled out my phone, and when he saw me he said, “Array! Oh maaf kardien Aijaz bhai, mein tou boaht bara fan hoon,” the actor jokingly exclaimed. The robbers gave them their phones back and apologized before departing.

On the professional front, Aijaz Aslam has worked in various drama serials, including Cheekh, Nand, Teri Behisi, Uraan, Log Kya Kahenge, Zara Si Bhool, and many more.

Aijaz recently made an appearance on The Fourth Umpire Show where he discussed the reasons behind the closure of his apparel line. He explained it as follows: “I didn’t want to close my firm, but I had to, and now my new brand has returned. I think one should always take action to make use of the experience they accumulate over time. Due to an occurrence that I will describe to you in more detail later, I had to close it in 2012. We created both male and female clothing.”

He continued by saying that many renowned people, including celebrities, wore his clothing. He also mentioned that several actors had worn his outfits to weddings. Also, he claimed to have created pieces for Pervez Musharraf. Moreover, Fahad Mustafa disclosed that he donned Aijaz Aslam’s wedding dress.

In the most recent episode of The Insta Show with Mathira, Aijaz Aslam talked openly about being married young. He believed that a person should choose to be married after giving it some thought.

Aijaz Aslam stated, “I was too young when my parents fixed my marriage, I got married too early, and they settled me when they saw me doing modelling and acting. I had three sisters who were settled, and I was the only son so I had a lot of family pressure. I was focused towards my career but in the past (15 years ago) it was a trend to get settled early, nowadays, it’s good that even girls are focused on careers and getting married late, and Early marriage is not advised since one learns a lot in life by experiences and can only gain knowledge of many things by travelling and mingling with people. This allows one to make better decisions and judgements in life. In our society, children are forced into marriage by their families, particularly in Pakistan, where marriages are performed between the two families, making the poor couple accountable to two sets of parents and disrupting their private lives. Farhan Saeed, Imran Abbas, and other prominent Pakistani actors expressed their opinions on the failing state of the country’s economy and whether or not we as a people still have hope for improvement.

Farhan Saeed wrote on Twitter, “How will we ever recover from this? Since I’ve been alive, I’ve never seen the Rupee strengthen against Dollar drastically,”

Along with uploading the trending video of the finance minister, actor Imran Abbas also posted a mysterious message.

Ushna Shah was also seen giving her opinion on the matter. She said she loved Pakistan and its people, but that it was tough to love someone when you can’t have a carefree life since basic supplies aren’t readily available.

“I love my country, I love my identity, and I love my fellow Pakistanis. But when there is no electricity and no gas at the same time, there is a shortage of petrol and UPS crashes due to overuse, and literally, no way to power the house when I need coffee, well, tarana gana thora mushkil hei. (it’s hard to sing the national anthem then)” she wrote.
