Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a venue that holds personal significance for the Akkineni family. Nagarjuna, Chaitanya’s father, shared the first pictures from the intimate ceremony on social media.

A wedding video, now circulating on social media, shows a heartwarming moment where Naga Chaitanya ties the mangalsutra around Sobhita’s neck, with family members and close relatives cheering and clapping. The venue was beautifully adorned with marigold flowers, and Nagarjuna was also spotted, visibly happy at the moment.

For her special day, Sobhita wore a golden silk saree, temple jewellery, and mogra in her hair, while Chay looked dashing in a traditional white outfit.

Nagarjuna expressed his emotions on social media, writing, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita.” He also noted the deeper significance of the wedding, held under the statue of his father, ANR, marking his centenary year.

Prominent guests like Chiranjeevi, PV Sindhu, and Nayanthara were in attendance.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala kicked off their wedding celebrations with a vibrant Haldi ceremony on November 29 in Hyderabad.

The event was an intimate affair, attended by close family members, and photos from the ceremony quickly went viral on social media.

Sobhita looked radiant in two stunning sarees during the ceremony. She first wore a yellow and orange silk saree paired with gold jewelry, including necklaces, bangles, and earrings. Later, she changed into a red saree with intricate gold detailing, accessorizing with red bangles and subtle traditional jewelry.

Naga Chaitanya complemented her look in an off-white kurta and matching trousers. The couple shared warm, candid moments, with Naga Chaitanya smiling lovingly beside Sobhita.

As part of the Haldi ritual, their loved ones showered them with flower petals, and water was poured over Sobhita to conclude the ceremony. Throughout the event, Sobhita radiated joy and joined her family and a priest in performing traditional rituals.

In a recent interview with Zoom, Naga Chaitanya expressed his excitement for the wedding. “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family the past few months… I am really looking forward to and excited for the wedding day,” he said. He also noted, “Sobhita is a family girl, and we have all celebrated a couple of festivals together as well.” The couple will wed at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a venue founded by Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather.
