It has been speculated that Crown Season 6 will focus on the Royal Family in the ’90s.

The Crown’s sixth season, now filming in Saint Andrews, Scotland, will star Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy as college-age Prince William and Kate Middleton, respectively.
The pair met at the University of Saint Andrews in 2001, and cameras captured the actors filming a scene that seemed to be a prospective meet-cute on March 17, according to sources.
When they met, newspapers have been obsessed with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship. They got engaged in November 2010 and married at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, and Prince Louis of Wales are their three children.
This season is expected to focus on the Royal Family in the 1990s, particularly the loss of William’s mother, Princess Diana. Although it is thought that they will not reveal the moment of death, they will depict the events leading up to and after it.
The Crown ceased shooting on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September 2022, and also stated that work would be halted on the day of her funeral.
According to reports, Prince William has lately been under fire when his brother, Prince Harry, said in his memoirs that William physically beat Harry after disparaging his wife, Meghan Markle.
After reportedly calling Markle “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive,” Harry wrote that William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and knocked me to the floor.”
